Set phasers to nerd boner .
William Shatner, best known for his roles as Star Trek’s Captain James T. Kirk and Boston Legal’s Denny Crane (too a much lesser extent admittedly), will return to Australia next month for OZ Comic-Con Melbourne. In the country a few months back for the Oz Comic-Con Perth and Oz Comic-Con Adelaide events, Shatner’s indestructible charisma aura will be present at the two day mega convention on July 6th and 7th. But that’s not all. He will also be hosting an exclusive meet and greet put on by event organisers who are also selling something called the “Shatner Experience” for the ultimate William Shatner weekend, whatever that means.
Captain Kirk will be joined by lesser humans such as Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride, Saw, Robin Hood: Men in Tights), Shannen Doherty (Beverly Hills 90210, Charmed) and Tia Carrere (Wayne’s World, Relic Hunter).
Stalk long and hassle.
