Disney’s humongous D23 convention is pushing out mammoth amounts of A+ entertainment news – just see the hype around the Avengers: Infinity War trailer, or the just-announced casting of the Aladdin remake – but there’s one franchise that still out-hypes the rest.
A new behind-the-scenes teaser has been released, showcasing all of the maddeningly excellent work Rian Johnson and his crew are undertaking on Episode Eight: The Last Jedi.
Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Mark Hamill, and yes, Carrie Fisher, all feature in the three-minute-long tease.
You better believe Laura Dern is there, too. Space Dern! And it isn’t even Twin Peaks: The Return.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives on Australian screens December 14 this year, but Space Dern cannot arrive soon enough.
