The orchestral teaser trailer released in June only gave us 60-seconds of footage and very little exposition from the anticipated Princess Diana biopic Diana, but the full length trailer gives us a better feel for Naomi Watts in the title role, and one of the film’s central plot lines surrounding her relationship with heart surgeon Hasnat Khan. (played by the excellent Naveen Andrews of Lost and The English Patient). There’s terrific chemistry between the two of them, and Watts plays Diana’s famous balance of meekness and strength very convincingly.
Diana is released in Australia on 10 October 2013 – just in time for Awards Season.
