In the aftermath of the Benghazi ordeal, the Democratic nominee for President of the United States faced an 11-hour hearing from hostile Republican interrogators. Eleven hours of heated questioning into the handling of a political shitstorm would usually bury someone’s chances of ever running for POTUS, but here we are, and here she is. Ungrillable.
So, it’s with a little bit of glee that we get to see Zach Galifianakis feebly attempt to get under her skin in his all-time great webseries Between Two Ferns. It’s deliberately awkward, as always, but the way Clinton brushes off his hamfisted attempts at prodding her gender, illness and competition in Donald Trump is… Well, kinda presidential, in that Mount Rushmore cast-in-stone kinda way.
