How do you capitalise on the talents of a voice actor, then, when they stop by your indie late night variety show of much weirdness? You get them to read out things they were never meant to read out.
Cult favourite Late Night Basement did exactly that, getting Benjamin to play the role of HAL in a short segment from Stanley Kubrick‘s all-time classic 2001: A Space Odyssey. The result? Predictably hilarious.
And it gets even funnier if you imagine Bob Belcher delivering the lines while drunk on absinthe and stuck in the wall cavities again.
