Trailer: Will Ferrell And Zach Galifianaki Are Political Foes

Meet rival political candidates Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) and Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis), both vying for a seat in the United States House of Representatives. In The Campaign, directed byJay Roach, we have Cam – a man whose average intelligence is masked by semi-sleazy Southern charm and a platform astutely designed to appeal to middle America – and his adversary in political newcomer and small town Right-leaning family man Marty.

This film is noteworthy because Ferrell and Galifianakis are funny human beings and marvelous character comedians who appear to be in their element in this spoof on American politics, and also because the movie features the increasingly visible Australian actor Josh Lawson in a supporting role. Not to mention the rest of the supporting cast which includes Brian Cox, Dylan McDermott, Jason Sudeikis and Dan Aykroyd.

The Campaign is released in Australian cinemas on 8 August.
