Trailer: A Million Ways To Die Brings Seth MacFarlane’s Special Brand of Crudeness to the Wild West

Seth MacFarlane is many a comedy fan’s dirty little secret. Nobody will own up to the fact that they enjoy his crude, low-level brand of humour, and yet everybody is suspiciously good at quoting lines from Family Guy. What’s up with that, I wonder? It’s almost like we’re embarrassed by the fact that his dick jokes and gross-out gags are so innately hilarious.

With that in mind, please enjoy the trailer for A Million Ways To Die In The West

MacFarlane directed and co-wrote the film, his second live action feature after 2012’s talking bear comedy Ted. He stars as a cowardly man in an old western town, in which (spoiler alert, although c’mon, who are we kidding?) a lot of people seem to die in violent and elaborate ways. Charlize Theron co-stars, along with Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Sarah Silverman and Neil Patrick Harris.

There’s gunplay, crude sexual innuendo, a song and dance sequence and a moustache-sucking scene that will take a hell of a lot of effort to scrub from my brain. Yup, looks like a lot of stupid fun.

A Million Ways To Die In The West is in cinemas Thursday May 29, and we won’t judge you for going to see it.
