Tina Fey Wins Mark Twain Humor Prize

Rejoice, nerds. It’s just been announced that Tina Fey will receive the Mark Twain Prize For American Humor and though we only learned of the prize’s existence today, we can think of none more deserving than the former SNL cast member, Sarah Palin impersonator, 30 Rock creator and Mean Girls scribe. Hell, you deserve as many awards as possible if you can write dialogue like this: “You are my heroine. And by heroine I mean lady hero, I don’t want to inject you and listen to jazz”.

Fey joins the likes of Bill Cosby, Steve Martin, Lily Tomlin, Richard Pryor and George Carlin and is not only the award’s third female recipient ever but its youngest too. Below is the very best of Liz Lemon.
