The Rock & Other A-List Men Will Protest Sexual Harassment At Golden Globes

The Rock Golden Globes 2018

In a show of support for their female colleagues protesting sexual harassment, a group of male actors, including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, are set to wear all black on the Golden Globes red carpet on January 7.

The plans to join the Globes “blackout” were revealed by celeb stylist Ilaria Urbinati, who took to Instagram to confirm that her male clients will be teaming black shirts and ties with their black suits on the big day.

Her celeb charge Johnson responded to her Insta post, saying: “Yes we will”. Why is The Rock such a damn good human?! Seriously, he is the best.

Anyway, Entertainment Weekly reports that Urbinati will also be responsible for suiting up several other A-list dudes for the event, including Tom Hiddleston, Garrett Hedlund and Golden Globe nominee Armie Hammer.

So hopefully we’ll be seeing them dressed like David Jones employees / Johnny Cash‘s backing band on the ruby rug as well.

In all seriousness, while the female protest – expected to include Meryl Streep, Emma Stone and Jessica Chastain – is super powerful in itself, it’s great to see the blokes getting on board too. Let’s hope everyone gets the memo and no fools show up in a statement tux.

Oh, the cringe.
