A sequel to the retrospectively terrifying mid 90s psychological thriller about the disturbing adventures of an estranged father of three who turns to LIES, prosthetics and cross-dressing to bypass a court order, infiltrate his ex-wife’s abode and interact with his children, Mrs. Doubtfire, is set for a sequel, THR reports.
The sequel will reportedly see original director Chris Columbus reunite with lead actor Robin Williams, working from a script penned by Elf scribe David Berenbaum.
The original starred Williams as an unhinged, divorced voice actor who in order to be closer to his children in the most rational and least creepy way possible, pretends to be a woman.
A premise as terrifying now as it was ten years ago.
