The Kardashian-Jenners Just Lost Millions of Instagram Followers

If you actually do have an aunt who earns $8,000 per week working from home and you just really enjoy telling people about it on the internet, you may have been a casualty of a recent purge, which saw millions of spam accounts deleted from Instagram.
Complex report that, over the last few weeks, the service has been cleaning its system out, and getting rid of millions of fake accounts. You may be down a couple of followers, maybe even a few dozen, but celebrity accounts have been hit extra hard.
The Kardashian clan, some of social media’s best-known and most entertaining oversharers, have just lost millions of spam followers in one fell swoop.
Kourtney dropped a total of 620,283, while Khloe lost 748,269, Kylie lost 826,529, Kendall lost 906,897, Kris lost 216,169 and Kim sloughed off a not insignificant 1,300,963. That’s a lot of fake accounts – just over 4.6 million, all told
We hope that they as a family and we as a world can pull together and find a way through this troubling time.
That said, the news ain’t all bad for the Kardashians.
As a result of the purge, Kim is now the most followed person on Instagram. With 22.2 million apparently legit followers left, she dethroned douche lord Justin Bieber, who shed just over 3.5 million, falling to the number three spot, with 20.3 million.
In other Kardashian news, in a recent email, Kim epically shaded the “pilgrim adams family (sic)” outfits Kris has been wearing of late, telling her mum to upgrade her style and cut it out with the “omish shit (sic)”.
Kris retaliated by posting the “delightful” email from her “LOVELY” daughter to Instagram, for us all to see:
Never change, you guys.
