Besides confirming Lily Cole’s slashie status Terry Gilliam’s upcoming feature “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” marks the last film role of the late Heath Ledger.
The film’s premise, by way of IMDB, perfectly evokes the brooding darkness for which Gilliam is famous: “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present day. It tells the story of Dr Parnassus and his extraordinary †Imaginarium’, a traveling show where members of the audience get an irresistible opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom.”
Interestingly three all-star actors, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell were enlisted to complete Ledger’s role following his death with each actor representing a different incarnation of his character. This will definitely be one to watch…
