The ‘Game of Thrones’ Exhibition Now Has A Time And A Place

Not unlike an animated skeleton rising from the snow with murderous intent, more details have emerged regarding the imminent, official Game of Thrones exhibition, which is slated to arrive in Australia and set up a brief residency over one week at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art from July 1st – 5th.

Game of Thrones: The Exhibition describes itself as an “immersive exhibition, specifically created to bring the enchanted world of Game of Thrones and its characters directly to fans.” It’s free and promises to deliver to attendees new perspectives on the HBO epic’s locations, characters and relationships through exhibiting artworks, installations and a collection of nearly 100 original artefacts from the series (including an Iron Throne guaranteed to garner at least 10+ Likes <3), which this year was expertly and impeccably art directed by Australian production designer Deborah Riley.
