The 2017 Logie Nominations Are In, With A Worrying Lack of Lee Lin Chin

The nominations for the 2017 TV Week Logie Awards are in, although there’s at least one glaring omission in the category of Gold Logie for Best Personality On Australian TV – where the bloody hell is Lee Lin Chin?
The SBS newsreader snagged a coveted Gold Logie nomination last year, and while she didn’t win, it seemed like she was merely laying the groundwork for an utter awards show bloodbath in 2017.
Surprisingly, though, her name is nowhere to be found on the list of nominees, which includes The Projects Waleed Aly and Peter Helliar, alongside Jessia Marais, Grant Denyer, Rodger Corser and Samuel Johnson.
By the time you read this, someone’s house will no doubt be burned to the ground as a message from Lee Lin’s people. She will not stand for this. No, she will not.
The Logies will be held on April 23 at Crown Entertainment Complex in Melbourne, and the nominations, which include pretty much every other person who has appeared on Australian television this past year, are as follows:
