‘Taken 2’ Is Stopping American Parents From Sending Their Daughters To Europe

Liam Neeson has revealed that his popular thriller Taken 2 has had an adverse effect on some American parents.

In an interview with Graham Norton, Neeson, who has had a long and storied career in film but now appeals to entirely new demographic, said that parents are refusing to send their girls to The Continent, for fear of them being abducted or taken hostage. You know, like the film he’s in. Which is fictional.
Neeson said: “Just the other day I got a letter from a school teacher in Texas who had tried to take 60 students to Europe and the families of 40 of them got the kids out of it because they had seen ‘Taken 2.’”

Righteo then. Better cancel that trip to New York in case we run into The Avengers.
