After Los Angeles-based model Sunnaya Nash took to Instagram to share screenshots of celebrity photographer Marcus Hyde demanding nude photographs in exchange for a photo shoot, several other models have shared stories about the photographer, ranging from creepy behaviour to outright sexual assault.
In a Twitter thread, the model explained that she was sharing the direct messages a number of women had sent her about 32-year-old Hyde after she posted the original story on Instagram.
One woman – they’ve all had their identifying details removed in order to preserve their privacy – said:
On the shoot he just stuck his fingers in my mouth and … shot it. I was so uncomfortable the entire time.
She then went on to say that Hyde took her to a bar and bought her shots, getting her so drunk she threw up “for what seemed like an hour“. After she yelled at him to leave her apartment, he took off with some of her clothes still in his car, which she says he wouldn’t give back “unless I would go on a date with him. Never saw him or my clothes again.”

Another woman said Hyde sent her unsolicited dick pics, and several said he withheld the photos he took after they refused to go on dates or release nudes.

Hyde blew up as a celebrity photographer after working with Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande – the latter of whom has publicly condemned him for his alleged behaviour.
This is not the first time Hyde has been accused of assault. In 2018, model Charlie Qu published an open letter saying that he’d raped her in 2012. Fellow LA model Kate Rose has also shared emails from 2014 of Hyde demanding nudes before he’d agree to a photoshoot. Hyde has deleted all his social media accounts in the wake of the accusations.
