SBS Cook-Teases Us With First Look At 24/7 Food Channel

When it was announced back in September that SBS was launching a 24-hour channel dedicated entirely to the one thing we could never tire of – FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD – our jaws were weighed down by so much by saliva that they hit the floor.
We now have our first taste of the channel, which will unimaginatively be called the Food Network but sounds none-the-less amazing for it, via a just-released teaser trailer.
Watch it and weep with joy:
Aussie chef Curtis Stone will be one of the network’s star attractions, with a bunch of his best shows featured on the channel, including Kitchen Inferno and Surfing the Menu.
Other program ~highlights~ will include home cooking #inspo with Rachael Ray’s 30 Minute Meals and Giada at Home, travel and culinary adventure programs like Reza: Spice Prince of Vietnam and Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, and the spectacularly called Diners, Drive Ins & Dives.
“Whether it’s learning tips and tricks from trusted kitchen masters like Curtis Stone and Rachael Ray, exploring all that’s weird and wonderful as we explore the world’s cuisine with personalities like Reza Mahammad, Andrew Zimmern and Guy Fieri, or getting your thrills with the likes of Ted Allen, Alton Brown and Bobby Flay as they put aspiring cooks to the test, Food Network will be home to some of the most popular programs in this genre,” says Food Network Channel Manager, Chris Keely.
TL;DR? There’s a 95% chance we’re going to look like this 24 hours per day, 7 days per week in the very near future:
Food Network will begin whetting our appetites on free-to-air channel 33 as of 1pm on Tuesday, November 17.
Diary note that shit, rn.
