Over the weekend, Saturday Night Live chose to ditch its usual cold open in favour of a simple and moving tribute to Paris, after this weekend’s devastating terror attacks.
Cast member Cecily Strong delivered a message in English and French, saying:
“Paris is the city of lights, and here in New York City, we know that light will never go out. Our love and support is with everyone there tonight. We stand with you.”
