It’s the news that ~no one~ could have seen coming: The Bachelor‘s Alex Nation and Richie Strahan have reportedly called it quits.
According to a very talkative friend of Alex’s in NW Magazine, the pair broke up shortly before the Logies last Sunday, but put on a brave face for the cameras.
“She was heartbroken and freaking out about all the scrutiny,” the source said. “So she and Richie made a pact to put on a united front and head to the Logies together.
“Alex is going through a really tough time right now. She really hoped this relationship was going to work. She introduced him to her son Elijah and everything.”
According to NW Mag, Alex reportedly spilled to one of the very few people who could understand her plight: last year’s ‘Bachelorette‘ George Love (she was “bawling her eyes out on the phone”, says the source).
Neither Richie nor Alex have publicly confirmed or denied the rumours. PEDESTRIAN.TV has reached out to their management.
A lot has been made about their apparently frosty behaviour at the Logies (dancing with other people, denying interviews etc), but these could also be signs of a couple having an off night, or entertaining the crazy notion that getting on the piss and dancing with randoms is actually a fairly enjoyable way to deal with the Logies.
