Rosamund Pike is up for an Oscar for her performance in Gone Girl, a movie about how you really shouldn’t mess with Rosamund Pike or she will rain all kinds of hell down upon you.
When one is on the publicity trail for an Oscar nomination, one must come at late night talk show hosts with a few amusing anecdotes in one’s back pocket, and Pike had a real corker for Jimmy Fallon.
Preparing for a key scene (you probably know the one) required a fair bit of rehearsal, and when all else failed, Pike turned to a felt Dora The Explorer doll, doing terrible things to it in view of her neighbours.
