Rihanna Accurately Memes Herself In Response To Fans Thirsty For New Music

Rihanna, woman of too many talents, has shared a delightful meme of herself in response to fans who are keen as hell for new music.

The last time the artist unleashed an album was in 2016 with Anti so it has been a fair bit of a time. We did have Kendrick Lamar‘s ‘Loyalty’ featuring Rihanna in 2017 but ya know, the people want an album.

Just yesterday, the 30-year-old was casually in Sydney to give fans a taste of the Fenty Beauty Chill Owt collection for the Halloween season. No big deal.

Pictured: a goddess.

Anywhoo, Rihanna posted the meme to her socials with the caption: “i feel attacked. ***valley girl who’s never been attacked voice*** R9 chronicles.”

“R9” presumably for her ninth studio album.

Personally, I am down for whatever Rihanna chooses to bless us with whether it be stunning lingerie or a fresh new palette.

On Twitter and though some fans thoroughly enjoyed the meme, others 100 per cent took it as a literal tease for new music.

New music aside, Rihanna is out here living her best life. Just last month she was at New York Fashion Week for her Savage x Fenty show which was a “celebration of womanhood”. Women of all different shapes and colours walked the show in what truly was spectacular scenes… cast your minds back to model Slick Wood who gave birth just hours after walking the runway.

Then there was also Rihanna’s annual Diamond Ball, attended by all the big names to raise awareness and money for the artist’s Clara Lionel Foundation. The event was hosted by Issa Rae with Childish Gambino, Paris Hilton, and Tiffany Haddish in attendance.

Founded in 2012, the Clara Lionel Foundation is a nonprofit organisation focused on improving the lives of disadvantaged communities around the world, specifically in education and healthcare.

Rihanna is enormously passionate about education and recently penned an opinion piece championing the importance of education in developing nations. You can read it in The Guardian, HERE

Oh, and because September wasn’t a big enough month for the goddess Rihanna was also made Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of her home country Barbados.
