The Worst Films Of The Year Have Been Crowned At The 2019 Razzie Awards

Razzie Awards

The Golden Raspberry Awards, aka the Razzie Awards, are always handed out right before the Academy Awards, honouring the worst in films from the year gone by, and taking Hollywood‘s ego down a peg or two in the process.

This year, the awards were dominated by Holmes & Watson, the misbegotten comedy that picked up trophies for Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip Off or Sequel, and Worst Supporting Actor for poor John C Reilly.

Melissa McCarthy picked up a dual Worst Actress for the R-Rated pupped comedy The Happytime Murders and the college comedy Life Of The Party, but also scored the Razzie Redeemer for her acclaimed performance in Can You Ever Forgive Me?
