Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have celebrated their engagement in an intimate traditional ceremony in Mumbai, confirming their relationship.
On Instagram Chopra posted this bloody sweet picture captioned: “Taken… With all my heart and soul..”.

High fashion level Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla also posted a picture of the couple in their ceremonial gowns to their official Instagram, congratulating the couple on their engagement:

A Roka Ceremony is the first event in a traditional Punjabi wedding. The ceremony declares that a couple are officially engaged, it also marks the beginning of a relationship between the two families.
Indian Express report an engagement party will follow the ceremony, attended by family and friends including Jonas’ parents.
Chopra and Jonas made their relationship known about three months ago when the two were spotted on numerous dates in both New York City and India. The latter included Chopra’s cousin’s wedding which she reportedly brought Jonas to.
Prior to this, the two initially sparked romance rumours when they arrived at the 2017 Met Gala together looking absolutely stunning. However, Chopra denied the rumours in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel that same month. Chopra explained the two had only arrived together because they were both wearing Ralph Lauren and seated at the same table.
That was it for a full year and a month until fans begun to notice the two were leaving comments on each other’s Instagrams in June AKA 2018 flirting.
Then in July, PEOPLE reported Jonas had proposed to Chopra on her 36th birthday. According to their report, Jonas had shut down an entire Tiffany & Co. store to purchase a ring for his now-fiancé.
Earlier this week, fans noticed Chopra’s engagement ring in fellow actor, Raveena Tandon’s, Instagram post of the two.
