Prince William Has A Day Job, Is Just Like You Now

In many ways – being the fabulously wealthy heir to a hereditary monarchy, having Pippa Middleton‘s phone number – Prince William is very different from the likes of you and me.
There’s at least one thing we have in common, though – a day job.
This week, Wills officially joined the rat race, becoming, per Vanity Fair, “the first immediate heir in the modern world to take on a job that isn’t military- or royal-related.”
He’ll be working as an air ambulance helicopter pilot for a company named Bond Air Services, who, as we speak, must be quietly shitting themselves at the added level of security they’ll now require.
The prince will undergo 12 weeks of training with the company, in addition to the flight training he took while in the military, before he begins choppering off to help those less fortunate.
He’ll live in his country house, Anmer Hall, because apparently the commute’s a lot easier to handle, but will reportedly continue with his royal duties at their current rate.
As long as that includes sick photo ops like this one, we’re on board.
