Pending Spider-Man, Batman Films Get Dark New Posters

Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises and Marc Webb’s new take on Spidey, The Amazing Spider-Man, are undoubtedly two of the most anticipated movie releases of 2012. In fact, the first screening of The Dark Knight Rises prologue happened over the weekend in Los Angeles and based on hyper film geeks’ superlative-laced reports it’s mind blowing.

The Spider-Man reboot starring Andrew Garfield is due out in March, and all the pre-release marketing has made it look super promising. A new poster for the movie just came out and keeps in line with the dark, intense mood created by Webb in the first trailer. LOOK SPIDEY’S ON A WALL!!!!! I like the tagline hook too: ‘The Untold Story’. Sounds like good news for those who weren’t overly impressed by Sam Raimi’s cartoonish adaptation.

A new poster for The Dark Knight Rises has also been released and has me feeling very nervous for Batman right about now. It looks like Bane is going to FUCK HIM UP.

Take a look at the two colour-compatible posters below and get a little psyched.
