Peaches Geldof Dead At Age Twenty-Five

Peaches Geldof, model, writer and TV presenter, daughter of Boomtown Rats lead singers and Live Aid founder Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, has died of unknown causes at age twenty-five.
Police are treating her death as “unknown and sudden” and found Geldof at her home in Wrotham, Kent, in the early hours of this morning. She was later pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Geldof was married to ex-S.C.U.M. lead singer Thomas Cohen, and is survived by two sons under the age of two, Astala Dylan Willow and Phaedra Bloom Forever.
Her husband has released a statement reading, “My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever.”
Father Bob Geldof has echoed similar sentiments, also releasing a statement declaring:
Peaches has died.

We are beyond pain.

She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.

Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?

We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is.

Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken.
Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof.”
Geldof lost her own mother, Paula Yates, to a heroin overdose at the age of eleven in 2000, and hours before her death Geldof shared the following on Instagram, in addition to two videos of her children playing.
More to come.
