Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban Serenaded A Hospital In Melbourne With “Amazing Grace”

Like a slightly subdued version of that time Beyoncé slammed out “Halo” in a cancer ward in Singapore a few years ago, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban stopped by the Monash Children’s Hospital in Melbourne last week for an acoustic rendition of “Amazing Grace” (a promotion appropriate song choice considering Kidman’s eponymous lead role in Grace Of Monaco, a terrible film you should probably avoid like the plague, per The Critics) in the lead up to the Swisse Celebrate Life Ball, an annual fundraising event hosted by the Celebrate Life Foundation which raises money for both the Monash Children’s Hospital and Sydney’s Children’s Hospital.

“It’s deeply sad,” the actress said of the heartbreaking plight of the hospital’s young patients. “But events like the Swisse Celebrate Life Ball ensure that we are able to give to families in need. Even if it is just listening and hugging and showing support, then it’s worth it.”

True that.

Good work, everyone.
