Hey all you total freaks extremely normal humans with normal hobbies: Matty J‘s likeness has been officially realised in digital form at Madame Tussauds in Sydney.
His likeness is the first to be included in the attraction’s new augmented reality experience. Wish you could be on The Bachelor, but didn’t make the audition? Madame Tussauds will let you sit on the couch, steal a kiss, take a photo, and live out your S4 Bachelor dreams before returning home to overwhelming loneliness (or is that just me?).
“It’s so surreal seeing the augmented reality experience come to life after weeks of development,” said the IRL Matty at the launch last night (Laura accompanied him, natch). “It’s actually so cool; when I’m sitting down next to Laura, and the digital Matty is next to her as well, it looks so life-like!”
Mmmm. ‘Life-like’ is the word I’d use, too.
He continued: “It’s easily one of the most unique opportunities I’ve had the honour of being a part of. I’m so happy to be part of the Madame Tussauds family!”
You know you’ve made it when a clone of yourself at your most handsome is preserved, forever, for the rest of us to take pictures with.
