NBC Expectant With Terrifying Television Adaptation Of ‘Rosemary’s Baby’

NBC have overnight confirmed they’re gestating the terrifying televisual spawn equivalent of American Horror Story and Don’t Trust The Bitch In Apartment 23 with news they’ve ordered a mini series adaptation of author Ira Levin’s classic 1967 horror novel of the same name, Rosemary’s Baby.

For those of you not familiar with Levin’s novel, Roman Polanski’s 1968 filmic adaptation, or the titular Mia Farrow’s iconic pixie cut, Rosemary’s Baby revolves like a suspended upside-down crucifix mobile around a young married couple who move into a charming new apartment, where they’re quickly befriended by their eccentric elderly neighbours to whom [SPOILER ALERT] Rosemary’s husband Guy has promised their unborn child, beget by means of Satanic rape, to be used as a human sacrifice in a pact with the occult. It makes for fantastic family viewing.
The four hour television adaptation begins its first trimester in Paris in January and should either draw out Rosemary’s interminable cramps and ingenue suspicions over the full series or will progress further than the famed final scene, which you can watch below. Hail Adrian!
