Natalie Portman Considers Her Ex-Pal Jared Kushner To Be A ‘Super Villain’

Hollywood is extremely weird, because there are all these mega-celebrities who have literally NO connection to one another, but just happened to go to school together back in the day / in some cases were total best mates as teens.

Two such people are Jared Kushner, husband of Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump‘s adviser – and Natalie Portman. Can you believe, the two were proper pals back in their high school days.

Natalie was a guest on Stephen Colbert‘s The Late Show this week, and was asked about her time studying right next to Jared – the pair graduated in 2003.

Natalie admitted they were “friendly” back in the day – she was even at his wedding to Ivanka in 2009. However they’ve since had a major falling out, which Natalie sort of hedged around but did admit to.

“Unfortunately, it’s not very … there’s not a lot funny to say about someone you were friends with becoming a super villain,” she told Stephen. “So, you know, it’s not funny.”

She also addressed Jared’s explanation of things.

“He said in some interview that the friends he’s lost because of politics, it’s like exfoliating. And I was like, ‘OK, I like the spa metaphors.’”

“So, you’re a dead skin cell,” Colbert added.

“Proudly,” she replied.

These days Natalie’s extremely vocal about her political views, many of which don’t align with the Trump government. So it isn’t shocking to find out these two don’t really see eye-to-eye anymore.

CELEBRITY-LAND, amirite? Weird bloody place.
