Murdoch’s Ex Wendi Deng Climbs The Evil Ladder, Rumoured To Be Dating Putin

Let it never be said that Wendi Deng doesn’t questionable taste in partners. Rupert Murdoch’s ex-wife is rumoured to have moved on to the next worst thing and is now dating Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Gossip website Us Weekly published a round-up of the rumours late last night, which are apparently spreading around the elite circles of Europe and Asia like a bad case of KGB secrets.

The Daily Mail then sleuthed further than Deng had recently been seen upon Russian billionaire / Putin’s good mate Roman Abramovich‘s super yacht in St Barth, which was rightly referred to by Vanity Fair as ‘one degree of mega-yacht separation’.

They could both be ripe for another relationship. Deng, 47, divorced Murdoch, 85, after 14 years of marriage in 2013, allegedly over suspicions of an affair with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and Putin, 63, divorced his ex-wife Lyudmila Putina after 30 years of marriage in 2014.

Then of course there’s the fact that Murdoch recently wed Jerry Hall and became Georgia May Jagger‘s step-granddad.

Have they found love in a hopeless place? Has hell frozen over? Is this yet another April Fools joke? While the date this story coincides on means an extra few grains of salt need to be thrown in, it’s worth noting that it is not yet April Fools in either the USA or Russia, and these two look seem like the type to repel all forms of humour anyway.

Eh. Love is love.
