Because we know you’re hanging out for updates about Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel‘s sex life, to the point where you have a Google alert set up for ‘Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel doing it all the different ways’, we’re thrilled to bring you this important breaking news story on that very subject.

In a recent interview with The Times, the 33-year-old model heavily implied that she and the 26-year-old Snapchat founder, who are due to get married later this  year, aren’t actually having sex at all right now, as they are choosing to remain pure until they are legally wed.

Kerr, who has a five-year-old son with her former husband Orlando Bloom, told the interviewer that she was not considering having another baby “until after we get married”, but that contraception and baby-making are not really issues in the short term, as “my partner is very traditional.”

When pressed as to whether this meant she and her fiance were completely abstinent, she said: “We can’t … I mean, were just waiting.” So yes, now you have this valuable chunk of information about Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel’s relationship, do with i what you will.

Elsewhere in the interview, Kerr had a go at Facebook for copying Snapchat’s features – including disappearing posts and messages and certain types of filters and photo-editing tools – perhaps giving some insight into how her partner and those in his inner circle view the competing social media giant.

“I cannot STAND Facebook,” she said. “Can they not be innovative? Do they have to steal all of my partner’s ideas? I’m so appalled by that … When you directly copy someone, that’s not innovation. It’s a disgrace. How do they sleep at night?”
