Miley Cyrus is apparently going to be in Woody Allen‘s first-ever television series, which is currently yet to be named.
The series, which will air on Amazon Prime in the US, is rumoured to be a drama set in the 1960s. Cyrus will be starring alongside comedian and writer Elaine May.
She announced that she had nabbed the role via her Instagram account, saying she had abandoned her previous claim that she’d be ‘chillin’ the fuck out’ in 2016, and was ‘stoked’ about it.
Deadline says the series will start filming in March this year, but Allen seems a lil’ apprehensive about the project:
“I don’t know how I got into this. I have no ideas and I’m not sure where to begin. My guess is that Roy Price will regret this.”
