Lindsay Lohan Still Has Standards, Turns Down “Spicy” Burger King Commercial

Lindsay Lohan has not had much of a screen presence of late – in fact, her most recent credit on IMDB is a 2014 episode of 2 Broke Girls, which is not exactly the kind of place you’d want to leave a once-promising career off.
It appears, though, that she does still have standards. This morning, reports emerged that Lohan had turned down a Burger King commercial that would have required her to dress up as a bag of fries.
Gossip monsters Page Six report that the fast food chain asked Lohan to appear in a commercial in which she would “wear a Spicy Chicken Fries box, smoke a chicken fry like a cigarette, and vamp a ‘spicy’ monologue.”
Lohan is clearly willing to hang shit on herself – witness the below car insurance commercial – but her people felt that this particular pitch crossed a line, making fun of her issues.
A delicious, spicy source at Burger King tells a different story, however, claiming that Lohan was “demanding” and wanted too much “creative control” over the ad, and eventually, she was told to “forget about it.”
Last year, Lindsay Lohan participated in an Oprah-produced reality show that was meant to re-launch her career, but it fizzled after one season, and a proposed thriller, Inconceivable, never came to pass.
Since then, she has appeared on stage in London in a well-received production of David Mamet‘s Speed The Plow, and has collaborated with the Lavish Alice clothing label.
