Matt Okine has used his acceptance speech for the Best Comedy Release at the 2015 ARIA Awards to call out the lack of representation for women in comedy.
The triple J presenter was clearly pretty unimpressed by the lack of women both in his category, and on the bill for the night.

Matt then went backstage and answered some questions, saying that calling this kind of thing out is “absolutely necessary”:
