Lachlan Gillespie, otherwise known as the Purple Wiggle, is apparently off the market, a year after his highly-publicised split from Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins.
Per reports in the Daily Telegraph, he is said to be in a relationship with dancer Dana Stephensen, a senior artist with the Australian Ballet.
The two reportedly met while on the set of The Wiggles, filming a segment – photos from Stephenson’s Instagram show her with both Watkins and Gillespie.

What an amazing group of people we had the pleasure of working with today, The Wiggles! ???? I’m absolutely in awe of their talents and humbled by their kindness ???? Also, can never thank them enough for giving me the best street cred going around the daycare scene – perhaps the only time in my life I’m going to be a cool mum ☺️ Thank you to the beautiful @emma_wiggle @simon_wiggle and @lachy_wiggle for such treasured photos and @anthony_wiggle I will hopefully get you next time! A very special day indeed ???????? #thewiggles #ausballet #makingmagic
A source close to the former couple confirmed that Lachlan Gillespie and Emma Watkins have “amicably divorced”after separating late last year.
“Emma, Lachlan and The Wiggles won’t be commenting beyond this,” the source continued.
Coincidentally, or not, Lachy’s Instagram currently links to a promotion for The Wiggles’ Big Ballet Day, a DVD featuring the Australian Ballet.
In a statement to the Daily Telegraph, another source close to the band said:
“All The Wiggles members, including Emma, are really happy for Lachy. He and Emma remain good friends and both wish the best for one another.”
Lachy and Emma dated secretly for two years before The Sunday Telegraph outed them as a couple in 2015, and they got engaged shortly after that.
It remains to be seen whether The Wiggles will have some kind of Fleetwood Mac Rumours moment as a result of all this inter-group intrigue, but watch this space I guess.
