Kristen Wiig And The ‘Ghostbusters’ Visit Children’s Hospital In Costume

The new Ghostbusters movie has been shooting in and around the great city of Boston these past few weeks, and in a move that could reasonably be described as wicked awesome, the cast recently stopped by a children’s hospital in full costume.
Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones lugged their proton packs to the Floating Hospital for Children, and the Tufts Medical Centre shared copious pictures on their Facebook
“They were a true delight to have today,” staff said. “They were so kind to all the kids and their parents. They took their time in each room visiting children as young as a few months to teens. We cannot thank them enough for the happiness and excitement they created.”
In other Ghostbusters news, there has been a will-they-or-won’t-they situation in regards to a competing, all-male reboot, to be filmed alongside Paul Feig‘s all-female version.
It was on, then it was off, then a few days ago, it was briefly back on … now, producer Ivan Reitman has confirmed that it is definitely, for real, not happening. He told journalists:
“There has been a lot of excitement recently about what is happening with the Ghostbusters franchise. As the producer of the new Ghostbusters film, I feel the need to clarify. There is only one new Ghostbusters movie and that is the Paul Feig directed version coming next July, presently filming and going fantastically. The rest is just noise.”
So there you have it. You can go ahead and check out pictures of Wiig and the rest of the team in their ghost-busting gear below:
