Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough have officially tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Mexico, saying their vows in front of an estimated 200 guests in a chapel at the exclusive One&Only Palmilla resort in San José del Cabo.
Her seven bridesmaids included a selection of school friends, her sister Jade and business partner Tamie Ingham, while his groomsmen comprised a motley crew of his fellow Stefanovic boys and others, all dressed in matching suits.
I should probably talk a bit about Jasmine’s dress, although cards on the table here, I know fuck all about fashion besides what I learned from Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada, so strap in, because this commentary is going to be one hell of a bumpy ride.
That said, the bride was radiant in a garment that appears to be white, but is probably some very specific shade known only to the people who design those colour sample cards you find in the paint aisle at Bunnings. Like I said, I’m not an expert in this shit, don’t @ me, folks.
Said garment was constructed from what I can only assume is lace or some similar type of fabric, featuring a train that could double as a cover for a small car, like maybe a Volkswagen Golf or something.
Instagram tells me that the dress was custom designed by J. Andreatta, which sounds fancy. Whatever, the point is that she looked great, and my foray into fashion journalism ends here.
The pre-wedding celebrations reportedly included a Studio 54-themed dance party, and the celebrity guest list included Julie Bishop and partner David Panton. Karl Stefanovic had several Today colleagues at the celebration, including Richard Wilkins and Sylvia Jeffreys.
James Packer, Kyle Sandilands and Alan Jones were all reportedly invited, but unable to come on the day. It’s doubtful anyone noticed or cared, however, as they were probably too busy taking in Christian Wilkins‘ look:
