With its full trailer expected to drop in the coming hours, Lionsgate has gifted fans a lil’ teaser for John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.

Parabellum refers to the famous Latin phrase, ‘Si vis pacem, para bellum’, which translates to ‘If you want peace, prepare for war’. Considering we’ve only copped the tail end of the phrase here, expect a lot of bodies.
Ageless man Keanu Reeves returns as sharply-dressed assassin John Wick, who has been excommunicated from the international assassin’s guild – the High Table – after he killed that dick Santino D’Antonio on Continental Hotel grounds. Now, with a $14 million bounty on his head, John must find a way to defeat the guild that’s out to get him.
Newcomers Halle Berry and Anjelica Huston join Reeves in this third chapter.
Per Entertainment Weekly, Berry plays Sofia – a woman Wick meets in the Middle East.
“She has a past with John,” Reeves told EW. “I end up going to find her to see if she can help me.”
Huston is said to star as “someone who was responsible for [Wick’s] upbringing and his protection.”
Interesting.
The teaser trailer, though only ten seconds, promises a whole lot of fun… and a very moody Wick.
Honestly, the man just doesn’t age.
