If you’ve ever encountered a durian, you’ll know that, it’s something of an acquired taste, and that beneath the rough outer layer is a sickly smell somewhere between warm garbage juice, onions and old socks.
They’re so potent that a number of Asian countries have banned them from mass transit and hotels, but Jessica Chastain is apparently mad for them, and presented Jimmy Kimmel with one during a recent appearance on his show.
We find it sort of hard to believe that a worldly individual such as Kimmel had really never encountered a durian before this, but his disgust upon cracking that bad boy open seemed pretty genuine.
