Despite the fact that we’re fucking absolutely nowhere near the continent of Europe itself, every single one of Australia’s entries into the Eurovision Song Contest so far, has landed in the top ten. That’s just how shithot we are.
2018 however, is set to see our wonderful southern land take out the number one spot for the first time ever, a statement I believe utterly and without equivocation, for I just listened to 9 whole seconds of Jessica Mauboy’s official entry.
