This last year has been pretty rough in terms of celebrity romances, but we have at least one cute couple to warm the cockles of our cold hearts, with reports that sweet angels Jenny Slate and Chris Evans have reconciled and are back together.
The Parks & Recreation actress and the Captain America star broke up in February of this year, after nine months together, but they sparked rumours of a possible reconciliation last month, when she teased him about doing his homework during a flirty Twitter exchange.
Earlier this week, Chris Evans posted a video of his dog Dodger howling along with his stuffed lion, but those who weren’t distracted by the adorable pupper noticed a woman’s laughter in the background, with a tone that certainly sounded very much like Jenny Slate.

Overnight, Slate seemingly confirmed the rumours when she took to Twitter to gush about how the man in her life is supportive of her online shopping habit, saying:
“My boyfriend does many dreamy & generous things. But number 1 in my mind right now is how he celebrates my new turtlenecks/[lets] me show him my online shopping spoils & cheers me on.”
Could it be? Are they actually back on?

Earlier in the year, after their split, Slate spoke to New York Magazine about Evans, saying:
“Chris is truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, to the point where sometimes I would look at him and it would kind of break my heart. He’s really vulnerable, and he’s really straightforward. He’s like primary colors. He has beautiful, big, strong emotions, and he’s really sure of them. It’s just wonderful to be around. His heart is probably golden-colored, if you could paint it.”
To be honest, we could do with some good news right now, so we wish these two crazy kids all the best.
