Holy Shit, There’s A Chance Khal Drogo Is Returning To ‘Game Of Thrones’

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains spoilers for Game of Thrones season six.

The seventh season of Game of Thrones looms long into the distance, but we already know that things are getting a shake up: the season is shorter, the characters are fewer, and Daenerys is *finally* crossing the narrow sea to make the Seven Kingdoms her bitch.

And now there’s a teeny, tiny, but not totally-out-of-the-question chance that Khal Drogo could be returning.

Khal Drogo – Daenerys’ ill-fated baby daddy of her ill-fated baby – died in season one, with only a brief reappearance in season two when Daenerys saw him in a vision in the House of the Undying.

But an Instagram post from actor Jason Momoa has led to rampant speculation that another such appearance is on the cards.

That’s Momoa on the right, drinking with Game of Thrones showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff. They’re drinking in a pub in Ireland, a country where GoT just happens to be filmed. Coincidence? We think not.

“Love ya GOT greatest show on earth ALOHA DROGO”
he caption it, which is all the shaky confirmation we need.

HE’S BACK, BABY*.
*Probably / Hopefully.
