You can change your life (if you wanna), you can change your clothes (if you wanna), you can give birth in a kiddie pool surrounded by your loving and supportive family members, and that’s exactly what Hilary Duff did, giving birth to her third child this week. Congrats girl!
The actress and singer took to Instagram earlier today to formally announce the arrival of her daughter Mae James Bair, born March 24. The photo showed her holding the new baby as husband Matthew Koma and children Banks and Luca looked on.
“We LOVE you beauty,” read the caption. You can see the fan-demanded photo below:
Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma said they decided not to have gender reveal party this time, which, given the recent spate of gender reveal tragedies, is probably for the best. She told People:
“We had a gender reveal with Banks and it was such a fun memory. Unfortunately, during these times we felt it wasn’t really appropriate. The way we are creating some excitement within the family is to wait to find out the sex on the baby’s birthday!”
She also tagged her doula, who we can only presume told her to “breathe in, breathe out” during the birth. Congratulations to the family on their new addition!
