Here’s Everything HBO’s Official Pics Tell Us About The Next ‘GoT’ Episode

Spoilers for ~the future~ episodes of ‘Game of Thrones’.

HBO has released the official pics for next week’s ‘Game of Thrones‘ episode, ‘The Queen’s Justice‘, and it teases a little more about what’s to come.

We already know that Jon and Daenerys are finally going to meet / duke it out in the throne room, and based on the episode’s title and synopsis, it’s safe to say that Cersei is going to exact her revenge on the Sand Snakes. The ones who are still living, anyway.

“Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) holds court. Cersei (Lena Headey) returns a gift. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) learns from his mistakes.”

Now the officially released pics tell us a little bit more about what’s going down.

JON AND DAVOS

We’ve already seen this shot in the trailer. Still, let’s all just take a moment to appreciate Kit Harrington‘s face. He also doesn’t look wildly impressed with Daenerys, for whatever reason.

TYRION LANNISTER

Last week, Daenerys told Tyrion to write to Jon and invite him to “bend the knee”. But as the recently released letters by HBO show, he did no such thing, instead inviting Jon to “join us” to end Cersei’s tyranny.

DAENERYS AND VARYS

Varys, once the slipperiest man in all of King’s Landing, is quickly proving himself to be a straight shooter (kinda), when in the right environment. Now that he and Daenerys have hashed out their problems, he’s back to providing council.

DAENERYS

How good does her dragon chain look. Girl, get it.

VARYS AND MELISANDRE

This could be… interesting. Varys loathes and fears magic, which saw him brutalised as a boy. Now he has to contend with another Red Priestess, and one whom his Queen is already warming to since finding out she, Daenerys, could be the princess who was promised. It also looks like Melisandre might still be around when Jon and Davos turn up – an interesting power move, given she was recently banished for burning an innocent child at the stake.

JON AND DAVOS ARRIVING AT DRAGONSTONE

If you squint, you can see that’s two direwolves on his chest, his King in the North insignia.

GREY WORM

Grey Worm is getting ready for battle, with a three-headed dragon on his chest. Honestly though, where does anyone find the time to make these things?

Here’s the trailer again, if you’re counting down the days.
