These days, social media is so ingrained into our daily life that it’s very difficult to imagine a time without it. You can get incredibly consumed by how you’re portrayed online and it can lead even the sanest people to go slightly mad.
That’s probably why super babe Gigi Hadid thought it was her civic duty to spread a little sanity in these trying times, by sneakily hiding a message via her phone case.
The 22-year-old stepped out during Paris Fashion Week and her phone case was emblazoned with the eerily similar packaging of durries and read: “Social Media seriously harms your mental health”.

It’s a statement that Gigi, as an ultra famous celeb, can no doubt attest to but it rings true for everyone, even those who just use the internet to browse memes.
This isn’t the first time that Gigi’s spoken out about the negative effects of social media. Last year she spoke to PeopleStyle about the issue.
“I’m going to take a break when I feel like it and when I come back and share it with you if you want to be supportive and still follow me I’m so grateful for that.”
“But if you’re going to be negative or be upset that I had to be human for a month then maybe I don’t want your follow anyway.”
