Game Of Thrones Season 5 Officially Has A Premiere Date

Winter is almost over, friends! Ever since the credits rolled on the final episode of Season 4 of Game of Thrones, we’ve been left drifting; dangling listlessly in a non-caring breeze. Sure, re-runs are fine and all. The rewatchability of the series is pretty high. But damn it, it’s the new and unfamiliar we crave! And all this drip-fed talk and rumours about the new season’s production hasn’t been helping.

But fear not, kids! There’s finally light at the end of the tunnel. We knew that Season 5 of the much-beloved Song of Ice and Fire was going to hit the HBO airwaves at some point during April. Now we’ve got ourselves a concrete date!

Mark your calendars. Write on the wall. Carve it into your forearms with a compass. Season 5 of Game of Thrones premieres on APRIL 12TH.
