‘Game Of Thrones’ Fans Are Beyond Hyped Over Next Week’s Promised Reunion

SPOILERS AHEAD. This is also a good time to tell you: at PEDESTRIAN.TV, we’re never going to post ‘Game of Thrones’ spoilers until Australians have had a chance to watch each episode that night. That being said, we’re absolutely going to be posting about it the next day. We’ll try to keep these stories as vague on Facebook as the conventions of headline writing allow us, but if you’re not watching each episode within the first 24 hours of its release, and you still care about spoilers, you might want to stay away from a pop culture website.

The teaser for the second episode of ‘Game of Thrones‘ S7 has fans extremely hyped for a long-awaited reunion – and no, it’s not the Starks. At least not yet.

If you watch ‘Game of Thrones’ on Foxtel, you would have already seen the teaser (it airs at the end of each ep).

If you, er… don’t, then here it is.

CATCH THAT AT 13 SECONDS IN?

Oh, it’s none other than Ayra’s long-lost direwolf Nymeria. NO BIG DEAL.

ARYA. NYMERIA. FACE TO GODDAMN FACE.

Judging by those same faces, however, it doesn’t look like this will automatically be a happy reunion.
The last we saw of Nymeria, Arya was throwing stones at her to force her to run away and therefore avoid being murdered by Joffrey. (RIP Lady, Sansa‘s direwolf who was killed instead.) In the books, however, Nymeria hasn’t been the long forgotten character that she is in the show: Arya’s been accidentally warging into her since ‘A Storm of Swords‘.
Rumours of this long-awaited reunion have been floating for months. And now? Folks are beyond hyped at their reunion. THIS SHOW GIVES US NO HAPPY ENDINGS, OKAY? We gotta take what we can get.

Next week cannot come fast enough.
