Former ‘Buffy’ Actor Nicholas Brendon Arrested After Destroying Hotel Room

Former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon has been having a rough time of it lately, with reports of several arrests over the course of the last few months.
E! News report that the 43-year-old actor was arrested again over the weekend following a convention in Florida, where he is accused of causing between US $200 and $1000 of damage to a hotel room.
Per a police report, hotel management contacted officers on Friday night after Brendon made a complaint about a missing wallet and cell phone, but they arrived to find him in a disheveled and intoxicated state.
Various other guests in the hotel had complained of Brendon knocking on their doors and walking into their rooms, and a manager said he had also been found sleeping in a corridor.
Describing Brendon’s condition, an officer said that he was observed with “toothpaste all over his face and shirt,” while “his pants were torn, he had defecated on himself and his pajama pants were wet below the knees.”
While in his room, officers found damage to a carpet, a dresser and the bed, and also observed a phone that had been ripped out of the wall, and smashed pieces of decor.
In October last year, Brendon was arrested in Idaho for damaging property and resisting arrest, after which he announced that he would be seeking rehabilitation treatment.
In February, he was arrested again after a similar incident in another Florida hotel. February also saw the end of the actor’s brief, four-mouth marriage to Moonda Tee.
“We are aware that Nicholas’ actions are of a much deeper origin,” a representative said, “and we are working toward creating a healthy environment for him to thrive in.” We hope he is able to get the help he needs.
