That Billy Zane. He’s so hot right now.
The list of stars lining up for the now-actually-happening sequel to cult favourite Zoolander is seemingly growing by the day as the production barrels towards shooting.
Along with newcomers like Kristen Wiig, Penelope Cruz, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West are the obvious familiar faces from version one like Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Christine Taylor and Will Ferrell.
But the film’s original extended cast is now being slowly brought back, piece-by-piece. And now it’s Derek Zoolander‘s good friend, and all around cool dude, Billy Zane‘s turn to sign on for a second piece of the pie.
Stiller revealed Zane would feature in the sequel via an Instagram video that, to be frank, is probably going to give you nightmares.
Where the hell are they? A cemetery? An abandoned garden feature store? A museum for tiny people?
And Billy Zane in that wig? JESUS FUCKING HELL.
The second Zoolander film is scheduled to begin shooting in the next couple of months in Rome, running off a script penned by Stiller and Justin Theroux, with Theroux stepping in to handle directorial duties.
For the time being, it’s scheduled for release next February.
